During my visit to the London Drum Show I met a very interesting man named Lion. Whilst filming and taking photos for our YouTube channel I stumbled across a most unique and fascinating stall. Unlike most who were selling; custom snare drums, revolutionary hardware or skins etc, this one offered Jewellery made by hand from scrapped cymbals.
The man behind the brand is 35 year old Lion Timmerman from the Netherlands. Lion began playing the drums aged 17, but following a motorcycling accident in June 2018, unable to work, he reevaluated his life, and decided to do what make's him happy.
One day, upon looking at some old battered cymbals, he had the idea to recycle them in an unusual and creative way.
"My experience as a musician and designer have helped me to realise my dream. Being able to people with the same interests as myself make it so perfect, its all in one!"
Even legendary band 'U2' have bracelets from LION'S TOUCH and he has big plans for the future, so follow him on his journey and lets see where it goes!
